"It was just what we needed for a overnight stay clean and tidy and warm. The bar was good and staff very friendly. The only thing we felt that would make it better was if they did breakfast but they do give you a Greggs voucher for 5 pounds per couple so overall it was good value for the money we would stay there again."

The room was also super comfy and spacious.The owners thought of every little detail to make the stay pleasant from breakfast snacks to different kinds of teas and coffee. "We stayed for one night overnight at the hotel and can honestly say it was just basic. The condition of the room was not great, as we soon discovered the lightning did not work properly and the kettle in the room was dysfunctional (reported) The bathroom was clearly in need of renovation as the flooring which was used to cover the sides of the bathtub was peeling away. The window blinds had portions missing and the curtains were hanging off. We also noted a strong draught from the window but...

"The pods were good, the bathroom was clean & shower good, both felt new. The keypad to get in the building was temperamental & took many attempts to get in each time, whereas the room one was good. The entrance & stairs looked rundown, which was the opposite of the room. Really good value & free overnight street parking round the corner. No facilities on site but, suited my purpose this time as i was out all the time."

"Nice hotel in Llanwrytd Wells. We stayed here for one night for a wedding. The staff were great and service fantastic. The hotel is quirky in terms of decor but clean and comfortable with everything you need. Free parking is always a bonus as was the nice breakfast. The in-house brewery was a nice addition and the beer was great. Would definitely recommend!"

"Everything was fine - except that it was freezing cold in the bathroom. The storage heater could have been put on for an hour or so before my arrival. As it was the room was so cold! And if I kept it on at night, the noise of the thing going on and off kept me awake. So - a little more thought could be given to how to deal with that for comfort's sake."

"First, the level of communication and correspondence I got from booking this property was piss poor. I did get barrages of messages for different things. From verifying my identity to being charged different fees to being bugged with different messages saying I have to check in between 4pm and 7pm anything after that, I will get charged £60 extra. They'd stated they charge an additional deposit of £750 but charged a deposit of £500 and extra £75 for the hot tub, which they refused to refund even...

Waterfall on Afon Sawdde This is the river Sawdde flowing north towards Llangadog. At this point there are roads either side of it: a minor one on the left bank; and the A4069 to Brynaman on the right. The whole length of the riverbank here is composed of upended strata of rock. You can drive past thousands of years of geology without even realising it.
