"We had a really fantastic night at the Shepherds Hut! Its a truly stunning setting and very well appointed little hut, the gas fire is great and the underfloor heating gives some real comfort! "As a history geek and a crafter, I immediately fell in love with this place, perched up on a hill, clearly seen from the main road. The current owners Ken and Sarah have lovingly restored the house to its 19th century elegance, whilst maintaining the 16th century Tudor elements. "Huge place and comfortable enough. TV has no signal and there was no sign of a wifi code and no connection that I could make, so pointless having a tv in the place as not useable. Rooms were comfortable and big, bathroom is very nice too, shower needs some attention though as the top head is so limescales it sprays over the top of the shower and on to the floor, and there is some bad mould on the base, door runners also not working properly.
