"The single rooms are small but have all the necessary facilities. Showers are easy to use and water is hot immediately. The staff at reception are very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is fine with quite a large choice for 13 euros. There are buses to most locations very handy to the hotel, as is the Odeon metro station. Huge selection of restaurants nearby. I have stayed here many times over the years and have never had a bad experience - but ask for a room at the back as the ones...

"The hotel was clean but even if the property is rated 2 stars the management must be more generous in terms of comfort. Only one towel, one toilet paper roll in the room. No shampoo, only one tiny bar soap! Receptionist barely speak French, did not try English. Remote control with no batteries. Very tiny elevator, NOT SUITABLE FOR WEELCHAIR AT ALL. I know it’s Paris, but it could be better. The night receptionist was pleasant. May be zero-star motel."

"Lovely hotel that is very close to the Metro Line 4 and also the Tramway T3a. Room was a nice size for Paris bathroom was small but was adequate. Bars and takeaways are close to hotel with one restaurant attached and lots within walking distance. No it’s not central to Paris so you will have to make use of the excellent Metro. Overall it’s certainly a hotel that I wouldn’t hesitate to use again or recommend if it suits your budget."

"We spent 5 days here, loved this old style hotel with its tiny elevator and giant windows. Rooms aren't big but bathrooms are new and spacious. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Area was safe and quiet, plenty of wonderful dining options nearby. Excellent location for exploring Paris on foot or bicycle."
