The location in Wasilla is nice as it feels semi-rural but you're only 5-10 minutes away from shopping. We had a brief delay getting a check-in code, but it was quickly resolved by the host. Overall, I'd recommend this property and would stay again. "

"We stayed one night while on our way to McCarthy. The area offered beautiful surroundings, a calm lake to paddle around on and area to hike around the lake. The rooms were very nicely decorated but no running water in the room. The restroom and shower cabin was a shared building but each bathroom had a private assigned stall. This was an interesting rustic concept but for a longer stay this would not be a good option for me. Not a deal breaker but just a FYI. They did provide a nice breakfast...
