"We kept five hockey boys for the weekend to play state. The hosts was extremely accommodating and gracious. It was a perfect set up to host multiple teens in between their games and to ensure that they were sleeping."

"Beautifully decorated, plenty of linens and cooking utensils and warm and cozy even in the winter. Confused when arriving as didn’t know which driveway and didn’t know it was a duplex. Overall it was perfect for our trip and located within 5 min to Wasilla"

The host was extremely accommodating for our group. I recommend this property to any large group that is looking for large spaces and beautiful views. "You walk in the front door and WOW! Everything is beautiful and luxurious, but comfy and homey. Easily comparable to 5-star hotels only so much better! "Television with Wi-Fi that could have been used with free apps, I didn’t choose to do that "

"We enjoyed staying at the Black Bear Abode. House was clean and very inviting. Heads up though, there are no washcloths and only a couple of towels in each bathroom. Also, we ran out of toilet paper and had to buy some. Beds were very soft and pillows were very thin. Just expected more for the cost we psid. "

Owner communicated clearly about delay in readiness due to unforeseen circumstance that they were addressing. "
