"Our stay was great. I would recommend this hotel! Very walkable to bus, sites and restaurants! Ladies at the desk were very kind and welcoming! Allowed us to store luggage before and after check in/out! Best bed I’ve ever slept in Europe!!!!! Nice balcony. No refrigerator but that was ok. We would stay again! Very clean!!!!!"

"We had an excellent stay at Hostal Casa Mercedes. Thank you to the team there. We arrived on a late flight after reception closed, but were given access code to enter property and key was left in our room. It was all communicated in advance and worked without any problems. The room (junior suite) was spacious with large comfortable bed, double shower cubicle and balcony with direct view to sea. Breakfast was lovely and had a great selection. Excellent value for money. "

"This is a little nice place to stay, very conveniently located closed to both the old town and the beach. The place is advertised as a "Hostal", which is, theoretically, a lesser type of hotel, however I can't see any reason as to why it is not classified as a hotel, because it has all the trimmings of one. "liked the area &the view however very disappointed at the facts that there was no safe in the room, on the first evening around midnight a complete stranger entered the room even though the door was locked. the bathroom door didnt lock, from Thursday 28th July the water in the toilet was continually running.This was reported to the office on Friday 29th July & we were assured they would send someone to repair it. "Lovely ensuite room. Comfy big bed. Large balcony got the sun all day with view to the beach. Very central. Above restaurant but quiet at night. Cleaned every day & fresh towels when needed. Mini fridge in room. Friendly, helpful staff around all day. Big supermarket & lots of shops, cafes, bars close by."
