"This is a very odd place. Sure it is an old palace but the rooms are in a basement like plant. In the bathroom the hot water took ages and the shover did not work. We were the only guests and therefore they closed the dining-room and the library and half past eight and the only way our was through the emergency door by the kitchen. It is not a recommendable hotel.The surroundings are quit e nice and the park is great, but inside it is not."

"We loved the beautiful setting and how peaceful the stay was. The owners were extremely hospitable and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The food was very fresh and delicious. "

"The views and surroundings are nice.Unsafe as we found they had an emergency exit closed with a chain and lock on it and after days complaining they finally took the chain off..In general there was no feedback when putting in complaints about door staying open ,noise of music voices etc coming from kitchen extractor,room not cleaned one day,no hot water first day,toilet cistern etc etc"

"Stayed in a superior room. It was very large, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Nice breakfast offering. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent location."

"Good hostal - clean and central, friendly helpful staff. Just a few minor things- no bin in the room (only a tiny one in the bathroom), nothing to hang towels on in the bathroom, a few hooks on the back of the door would help! No full length mirror which is annoying when you’re on holiday and want to see your outfits! "

Perfect place, perfect location

"We had a wonderful visit to Nerja and stay. The Hostel was in a great location for restaurants and coffee shops and the bus station. We loved our room and the staff were always welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend and would stay there again "
