You'll need a car as the hotel is 3 km from the main town, there are tavernas and a few shops within walking distance and lake kournas is a pleasant walk of about 3 km. "The hotel is under construction while they sell online rooms. We booked on 29th of May and till 5th July they did not even inform us regarding the fact that they will not provide accomondation. We reached the hotel after our reservation driving 1 hour from Rethymno town and they did not even apologize for not having an available room for our reservation."

"Stayed for a week with Stravros, he was amazing and so was his staff. Rooms are clean, serviced daily and at a very reasonable price. Location is amazing, 300m from the supermarket and beach. Just be wary it’s a kitchenette not a fully equity kitchen. Fine for us but just to know. Definitely recommendnd :) "
