"One of the best hotel in Tamil Nādu. Their service and friendly environment is equal to European or American hotels. Caring and friendly Staff at the front desk are excellent. So far I have recommended this hotel to two of my friends who will be traveling in the coming months. They are going to open up their restaurant next month. "We stayed at Akkandi veedu for one night during late March. Upon our arrival, we were warmly received by one of the staff there. (Forgot her name. May be, Radha? Rama?) She sent the bell boy to get our luggage upstairs (There are no elevators.). The WiFi was great. The dinner was very good (freshly prepared onsite). It cost us around 920 rupees for 3 of us. "Budget rooms, allowed for early checkin. There was no airtel mobile network inside the hotel. Airtel has barely any coverage in local sightseeing places. They dont have a restaurant. But very good options at walkable distance. The rest rooms were clean and maintained neatly. Decent budget stay. "
