"This was the perfect cabin for two. Extremely clean quiet and comfortable. Beautifully decorated, with all the comforts of home, without the noise of city traffic. Nice view, beautiful sunsets, cool crisp mornings. We enjoyed a week in the Huntsville area, visiting family, and seeing the sites. "The house is adorable, we loved spending the weekend at this location. I will say that the cleanliness & updating of furniture was a bit off when it came to this house: - the couch has massive stains, we ended up covering the couch with extra sheets. - there are fake limes in the dining room table that have bite marks on them. - the bed mattresses are very hard - would recommend taking your own pillows as well. - the master bedroom fan works but the light wouldn’t turn off so it got stuffy in...

"Loved everything about our stay at the Hopestead. The decor was lovely. The bed was super comfy. Breakfast was delicious. The hospitality that Michael and Vanessa shared was wonderful. My husband and I got to walk the premises and see the horses and friendly mule JJ. We had a great visit. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to anyone in town for the Jack Daniel’s tour. "

"We had a very comfortable stay at the Big Luxury Farmhouse. This home has been completely renovated with updated / modern kitchen, bathrooms, new flooring, light fixtures, paint, doors, staircase, porch, etc. The two story living area and high ceilings throughout give an open, airy feel. The bedroom was spacious with a comfortable mattress. The hosts were very accommodating and attentive with any questions we had. We will definitely revisit our next trip to Shelbyville!"
