"Hotel Esperides is a lovely quiet hotel on the main road just across from the road into Myrtos, a quiet tourist town on the southern coast of Crete. Wonderful breakfast for 9 euros per person, with large assortment of foods. Small elevator available. Very accommodating when we arrived early from the ferry to Heraklion, Crete; we were able to purchase breakfast even before check in, and they got 2 rooms ready for us an hour or so before their usual check in time. "Iro hotel felt a little abandoned as there were no reception staff, restaurant or pool bar at the hotel. All the services were next door at Sergio hotel. Restaurant in Sergio was very good and staff extremely helpful and friendly. A little more information for the guests in Hotel Iro would have been good. First night we did not know where to go for dinner. When we found it it was great, as was the greek entertainment and dancing after dinner. A very nice surprise. "
