"Kandy can be quite expensive, so we booked this place in nearby (and non-touristy) Matale for a fraction of the prices further South. It's a short walk or tuk tuk from the main bus stop. "The panamamic views surrounding the house are absolutely gorgeous! My wife and I have stayed at places all over the world (36 countries and counting) and this house ranks in our top 5. The room is huge (with a large, modern bathroom), and the house has a stocked game room with pool, ping pong, foosball, and more plus a giant chessboard outside.
