"Shang He Yuan does not offer posh amenities like hotels but the lady owner's warmness and sincere service from the heart more than makes up for that. She even went the extra mile to help us locate our long lost relatives in Kinmen. Our stay at Shang He Yuan was indeed heart-warming!"

"old and dirty linens in bed for new guest, stain and hair on duvet and sheets, towels look very old and dirty. water pressure from tap on and off, no shampoo and conditioners in 2 of 3 rooms that we booked. very pleasant stay. for second night we had to forked out $14,400 to stay in Jinhu Hotel. we did not stay in this hostel!"
