"Room was absolutely spotless & new. Front desk service was great. TV wasn’t working and we called & someone came and set it up immediately. He was pleasant and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our stay & breakfast. An elderly guest roaming the halls with her small dog at breakfast talking to her cellphone in her pocket on speaker made for interesting entertainment. All other guests were smiley and kind. "

"This was an emergency stay because the Hampton Inn in Elizabeth City, NC had bed bugs and we needed a room. This location was 27 miles from ECSU, but it was clean, the guy at the front desk who greeted us that night was amazing. He was even grossed out at other hotel having bed bugs. "Room had a horrible smoke smell and was not as clean as advertised. The lamp shade was broken and there were stains all over the walls and in the bathroom. Dead bolt was also broken, which made me feel unsafe. I stayed 2 nights and they added an extra towel and took the trash out, but did not give extra soap and did the bare minimum. I arrived back at the Inn after working all day the 2nd night and was locked out of my room and had to go to the lobby to get my key card activated again. I will...
