"it was scary and unsafe in the area, the property was poorly maintained and was not as represented in the booking site. Upon arrival in the neighborhood we saw many buildings with broken out windows and people living on the street. The area was trashed out. We saw a drug deal happening in the parking lot of the hotel. There were no other cars in the parking lot and no other guests. I spoke to the clerk about our concerns. He warned us that there was frequent crime in the area and told us we...

"The hotel was very clean and the rooms were in good condition. There was limited transportation around the hotel other than a train station that was 30 minutes by walk but, enough stores to keep us occupied. Would give this a higher rating if we came by vehicle/have transportation nearby. Overall a great place for a good price."

Love the little city, Chateau Plaisir a must see. Train ride to Paris, especially if you do not want to stay in the city due to cost. "
