"We had an excellent 2 nights stay at Alphabed Inn Takamatsu. The whole place is very clean and the room is spacious and very comfortable. The surroundings is very near to train station and supermarket. The common area however is very cold so the tempreature can be adjusted slightly higher. "

The hotel is located close to many of Kurashiki's attractions, but is ~15 minute walk from Kurashiki station which was slightly inconvenient with luggage, but not a major issue. "Very cute hostel. The inside had great design and amenities, like extension cords, card games and hairdryers. Checkin was no-contact on a tablet. It had a little trouble finding my name but I guess it wanted my full name (first and last) typed in to find it. We stayed in a western style room with bunk beds.
