"The hotel is in a good location, easy walk into Cambridge. Good parking. We were in room 3 and yes, you can hear the front door closing so maybe a quiet closing mechanism on the door would be useful but also other guests being considerate if coming in late at night/early morning would be nice! The room needed a little updating and a hoover and maybe soundproofing but we slept well. Breakfast was good, the staff were lovely. We were asked at breakfast if we wanted our room serviced as it stated...

"Hard to evaluate this as a hotel. Room we had no2 was very much like staying at your Grandma’s if you are a big fan of all things new and shiny and if you don’t like spiders this one is definitely not for you. If you don’t mind a homely room with a few faults adjacent to a brilliant and very welcoming little pub then it’s a great little find. Staff wonderful, great food and drinks all at very reasonable prices. "

"Everything was fine. Room was clean and does not smell. Onlt thing was the bed too soft for our liking. Plus, i liked that they have a communal kitchen which was reallt helpful when you wanr to cook your own meal instead of ordering from fast food! We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Thank you! "

"You're above a pub, but right in the city centre, for real cheap. It's highly convenient, clean bathrooms and bedding, but be warned, it's above a pub. Its a bit noisy until late, but that's expected. Can't complain really. We left some headphones and keys behind but they were very kind to ship them back for us! Would recommend if you're in for a couple of nights and just need a bed. Gud price"

"Michelle, was a great host. The bar is lovely and quaint. A perfect pit stop for a couple of nights for myself and 3 under 14s. She made sure there was plenty for breakfast and anything we needed she was there. The rooms are bright and airy and a good sized shower space. "

"This is self check in place and I didn’t know that as on my email about check in details it was answered with guess house names. So had really big problem finding place then arrived with no code for key safe box. Place overall was mess full of cabin crew yungsters partying, fair enough they were helpful as they contacted landlord so I got a room key. I received email with check in details next day…"
