"Have not stayed here for several years. It has improved a lot since our last visit! Excellent reception employees. Hotel is now surrounded with a well designed and pleasant looking security fence. New paint. The hallway has new carpet and light fixtures which much improves the ambiance. Although these rooms are not fancy, nor do they have carpeting, they have freshened up the decor and they are clean. Excellent value for the cost as well. Will be staying here in the future while in the Arcata...

"Good value and the facilities were fine. The only drawback was that we could hear other guests through the walls--- at 1:00 am and again at 3:00 am. It was a Monday night in February and there were very few guests, but for some reason they put us all in the same wing"

"What i did not like was expedia charging me the full amount (the innkeeper got nothing) for the last night of my reservation which expedia prevented me from cancelling for refund 4 days before that night. Total rip off by expedia. "
