"Readers, read this to the end as it contains a balanced review that you will want to consider before booking. We stayed at the Coach house for two nights. It's a in a good location with an excellent COOP (market) just a few doors down. A nice albeit getting old property whose kitchen is well equipped and shower is excellent. The bed is comfortable and overall the property is clean and cozy (it's quite small). Be careful up and down the very narrow stairs to the bedroom. Not much room except...

"Lovely rural cottage within courtyard. Everything was supplied, towels, bedding and kitchen utensils. Lovely decor and comfortable sofas and beds. Would book again. "

"Lovely, beautiful little old fashioned lodge for self-catering tucked away behind thick gardens abutted to a lovely old building on the outskirts of Alnwick. Its self-catering and had everything we needed, including good TV choice for the evenings and a strong wi-fi (in the lounge but not in kitchen). We just felt so at ease and relaxed in the evenings there. It may not be for everybody, say for example, those that like things to look modern. But for us with an eye to more homely back-in-the-day...

"I loved primrose cottage so much. It was just perfect for my solo trip. It really felt like a home from home, I felt so comfortable there. The duvet and pillows were so soft and plentiful. The Wi-Fi was great, no issues at all. The kitchen was very well stocked, more than it needed to be but my favourite part of the stay was the shower. It was - hands down - the most powerful shower I've ever had. Just perfect after my run on the beach I really hope I'll be back soon and hope...
