"This accomodation is fair for the price - it's cheap, a 20 min walk from the station, check in was easy, the room was clean, free coffee was available and various complementary toiletries (like toothbrush, etc). However everything is very dated, the bathroom is very small, it was quite loud (people running up and down the corridor at night and shouting) and the bed was uncomfortable. "Very small room simply decorated, even tinnier shower. Nice view from balcony. Long stairway to second floor rooms, don’t carry heavy baggage. Restaurants hard to find after dark, especially when you drive, impossible to turn into narrow lanes. Kaoshima has amazing museums, but biking and walking are best left for the young and healthy. "

"The room has EVERYTHING !! even the basic room, there was a microwave ! fridge, dehumidifier/air cleaner, water boiler, internet LAN cable(even there was smooth wi-fi )and even a blue light sterilizer! The only downside was the staff at the check-in counter didn’t really speak English. Additionally, the soundproof was bad, i could hear the sound of motorbike all night long from the street and footsteps from upstairs."

"Very good room. Modern and functional, small but didn't feel cramped. The hotel even had a sento (traditional public bath), which was nice. The hotel is located close to many of Kurashiki's attractions, but is ~15 minute walk from Kurashiki station which was slightly inconvenient with luggage, but not a major issue. "This is a basic accommodation that is perfectly adequate while visiting Naoshima. The rooms are small and after checkin we did not see any staff again. The location is conveniently located near the ferry. There is no food available at the hotel, but there is a nice common room with a large table."
