"Central location. Excellent character and standards inside the room. Access was up two flights of stairs. Despite having space, the room lacked an armchair for watching television, etc., and there was nowhere to put a suitcase except on the bed or floor. I did not use the breakfast arrangement, which was at 'The Olive Branch' a large pub about 200 yards away. Easy parking."

I did have to wait outside a little, as the instructions on how to enter aren’t quite that easy to understand, but only a couple of minutes and I was greeted. I was shown to my room, which was fine for one night. I slept really well, the room was nice and warm and the bed was fine. There was a nice hot shower and decent bathroom. "Great friendly service, good room with a lovely bay window overlooking the sea. Small touches really help, like bottle opener in room etc. Breakfast was hearty and offered smoked mackerel as a choice, as well as the cooked breakfast."
