"Early September I took a weeklong trip and stayed in Elizabeth’s room at Elsa’s. To say it was the perfect choice is an understatement! The property was gorgeous, the room was sweet and cozy and had the perfect view of the harbor (across the street!) The inn keepers were so warm, kind and helpful. And they make THE BEST breakfast. "Everyone had a wonderful time. It truly felt like home. From getting up in the mornings to watch the beautiful sunrise to the evenings in the game room taking in some friendly competition. "This house was wonderful! Clean, easy to find on GPS, even in the dark when we arrived and a very quiet location. The view was beautiful. We saw deer in the backyard and across the lake. We utilized the fire pit on a cool night and enjoyed s’mores with our family. The small touches were thoughtful-mini bottles of shampoo & conditioner, mini bars of soap, coffee available for the coffee maker. Beds were comfortable as well. If we’re ever back in this area, I would definitely stay here again. "

"My wife and I felt very lucky to have found The Miners Den which is a very new creation of a great proprietor who really cares about your experience.The hand built cabin is gently fitted to the landscape of balsam firs and hardwoods with a light touch.It reminded me of the few small cabins in the White Mountains you find along the trails.Everything you need less food is provided.For a couple in their sixties with a friendly dog we will be excited to get back there and see what’s happening.Oh...

"We stayed at this property for about a week while so we could explore eastern Maine and Acadia national park. It is in a beautiful location with a view of the ocean and some fun rock shore to play/walk on. "This house was everything that was promised...secluded, well stocked, and very clean. I was particularly happy with the amount of supplies already in the kitchen when I arrived. Every morning I was able to have a hot cup of coffee out on the deck and listen to the water lapping against the rocks. I even had a little seal friend swim up into the cove to say hello. My only word of warning is that the road to the house is unpaved and you really need to take your time driving to and from town....

"What a trip. The cabin was everything you one hope for. Excellent check-in (Thanks Mike!). The lake (pond) was breathtaking and will be a lasting memory. Great location to visit Schoodic and the other crazy part of Arcadia. I would highly recommend the property if it fits your needs and we hope to come back. "
