"Accomodation was generally good & peaceful though I felt there was a catch when I was told the room I had initially booked for had no windows & was then offered an upgrade with a window that costed a bit more. Hotel parking was a bit expensive at $25.00 a night when ParkMate nearby was charging just $14.00."

Walking distance to riverside market , right across the street from the botanical gardens and the boathouse for kayaking or punting. Fantastic bagel and coffee stand next door for breakfast. "The location was perfect—right in the heart of the city and within easy walking distance (5–10 minutes) of the rental car office, restaurants, and more. Overall, I had a great experience. The only downside was that I found the restaurant staff to be a bit unfriendly. Despite that, I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Christchurch."
