"The Pring Guesthouse is a warm and welcoming, extremely clean house with lots of fun little extras including a full kitchen, free cereal and treats, a bookcase full of board games, and tv and books for entertainment. There’s lots of fun maps and brochures about the Hamilton area. The hosts were very kind and welcoming and helpful and the hostel is quite charming and affordable. I would stay again. "Bait and switch! I thought this was part of the Budget Inn chain so I was expecting no frills but clean. This place had no maid service. No soap. No shampoo. Blood spatter on the bathroom ceiling. Lipstick (I hope!) on the washcloth. No bed springs - just a foam mattress on a piece of plywood and hard as a rock. Noisy AC which didn't work well. Toilet barely flushed. They didn't have the room with two beds I reserved, so they gave me an extra room at no charge, and then called me after 10 pm to...
