Room has obviously been broken into before, the door did not shut all the way and there was no lock on the door. Cabinets missing and filled with dust. Grass and dirt covering the floor. Bathroom dusty with a dead roach in the bathtub. The police sitting in the parking lot when we arrived should have been a dead giveaway of...

"It felt like a drug front. No one was there when we arrived to check in. The structure of the building itself felt incredibly unsafe. I honestly considered sleeping in the truck rather than sleeping on the questionable bed. I slept in a sleeping bag and brought my own pillow. The tv did not work. There was an extension cord from somewhere else plugging in the lamps for the only light in the room. You had to unplug the lights to charge your phone because none of the outlets worked. "
