"This is my second time staying here, but I'm sad to say that the rooms I got this time were a little dated and smelled like mold (both of them). I booked two rooms, and the other room had a working aircon, but unable to turn off or adjust settings. I even bought new batteries for the remote. SMCO representative was nice and helpful, but I felt weird leaving the room keys in a locker with NO LOCK. what if someone stole the keys and cleared out the room? Will I be responsible for that?...

"The place was clean but there are headboards around everywhere, being 6ft tall I could not stand up in all places. Quite frustrating and after hitting my head 3 times on the first night I decided to exit early and find another place to stay. It took 3 hours to get back my deposit. They also charged extra $$ upon arrival stating room rates but I had prepaid and then said it was government charges, I gave in but then would only take cash and didnt have change, unbelievable. "It was a "soft opening." The price was good and the services were great. We stayed in Oct. 2024 for 5 nights. Yes, the surrounding is a slum area but people are nice. Never felt unsafe! Walked around the area casually ...to Baclaran clothing etc market , National Shrine of our Mother of Perpetual Help, fast food restaurants , transportations to go to MoA and other great places in the area.You'll never go wrong staying in this property."
