Not the best hotel has seen better days."

"I arrived at 7.30 pm after a long drive from the South of France to find the hotel locked up with nobody there at all. The bar and restaurant were both closed as well. There was a handwritten note on the door giving a telephone number. I phoned and was told that there was a side door and I was given a digicode to gain entry and a room number for me. The room had a key in the door and I was the sole occupant of the hotel. The room was a good size and felt warm. On closer inspection, the room was...
