"Mill Creek Gardens far exceeded our expectations. The place is absolutely amazing! The accommodations are lush and very comfortable. We were given vouchers for breakfast at a restaurant in town. We came to see the Sandhill Cranes and will be back again!"

"Kim is wonderful and helpful! This is a no frills motel. If you want a cheap clean room, a basic place to sleep (bring your own pillow if you are picky about pillows), shower (water gets HOT, pressure is fairly good; bring your own towels if you use/want big towels and/or plush/soft/new ones), and do not need any amenities (no chair for desk in room with two beds, no hair dryer, no hangers) this is the place to stay. Can't beat the price. Stayed two nights last week and am typing this in my room...

"We were attending a wedding in the area and needed a place to stay with our large family. The Winona House and Tammy were wonderful! The house had something for everyone. The kids, all adults, hung out in the lounge, played pool and even got in a game of hoops. We enjoyed family time on the patio and beautiful views of the lake. Before the wedding we took photos in the backyard and by the gazebo. We loved our stay and we highly recommend."

We were a group of old friends, so a lack of privacy was not a big issue for us, but I could see where it would be for some individuals. If you're concerned about privacy, ask for more pictures."

"Amazing little cottage, perfect for our family of 5! Very peaceful alternative to staying on campus or in Lafayette while visiting our daughter at Purdue (just a quick 30 min drive). Really enjoyed all the board games and pickleball court. Wish weather would have allowed us to enjoy the lake more! Angie (host) was super with communication as well!"
