"Excellent "no frills" place to stay. Meddle of the old town, Plenty to shop, dine and see around. Is an old 2 story Hotel, verry cheap but room was good, clean, AC works, no TV. (I did not miss it, I collapsed in the first 30 seconds after so much walking at the Canton Fair)."

"What Could Have Been - The cozy duplex looked fantastic in the photos, sized just right for our family and had so much potential to be an amazing Christmas in Guangzhou, but alas.. the upkeep (or lack thereof) of items inside and missed attention to hygiene turned off my family so much we had to seek to cancel rest of our stay shortly after arrival. "Arrived late about 830pm, after exhausted day. Staff was very rude and spoke fast and unclear. Tried to ask for two bed room and got dinged for "you need to pay extra for this." Well we got originally be oked room and guess what? A window towards walkway. Smoke smelling everywhere. Next morning we got downstairs asking for bottles of water because there were two in the room. Front office staff asked if we were going to extend staying and I said no. So bo water. So nice."
