The beds were comfortable, plenty of pillows and extra blankets. The space in the basement was lovely. We did have to be mindful of the water pressure so someone could shower 1 at a time. But overall, this was a beautiful home away from home"

"Convenient off Rt. 1. Stayed here before heading to ferry terminal in Rockland for early start to Vinalhaven. Walkable distance over the river back to Wiscasett for dinner. Walls and floors seem "thin" or not heavily insulated - lots of noise from upstairs and next door at various points in the evening."

"The studio apartment was as advertised .. so cute.. cozy and comfortable. VERY clean. Perfect for a couple. The view was very nice and there were outside chairs on the property to sit and enjoy! There was just a small microwave to cook in and a small refrigerator. ( setting might have been set too high) I would have found it beneficial to have an electric frying pan or an electric griddle to make eggs or stir-fry veggies . "This is such a wonderful rental. The apartment is warm, cozy and has stunning views of the Kennebec and the quaint downtown of Hallowell. This was so convenient, everything you need is within walking distance, and if it's not it's a short drive to Augusta. The apartment is spacious and has all the amenities you'll need. The hosts were responsive and easy to get in touch with if needed. Only thing we weren't prepared for were the amount of stairs; bringing up our heavy luggage was cumbersome, but...

"What a beautiful serene cottage on the lake. Our stay was impeccable…from the on going communication with the property manager to the card, flowers, and pie in the fridge. He knew we would be arriving late and went to turn on lights and make sure everything was ready for us to just hop in bed after a long day of traveling.
