"The executive suite is really a small, well-appointed apartment with a full kitchen, living room, fireplaces in both the living room and bedroom. Modern decor offset by a cute retro full-sized refrigerator and microwave. The outdoor seating area is quiet and peaceful on the edge of the woods. We were visited by several deer and an armadillo while relaxing with a cocktail by the fire pit. A great contrast to the bustle of the historic downtown area just a couple miles away. "Easy check-in and parking, friendly staff. The kitschy log cabin decor is part of the appeal, and ultimately the room was comfortable with nice amenities. Walkable to the main drag if you don't mind walking back up the hill to get home."
