"Room a bit dated, however all clean and comfortable . This is a sister hotel to the Arundel 10 mins walk up the road. The reception has limited opening times but this wasn’t a problem as the staff at the Arundel were very accommodating especially as I was early for check in. All in all good."

The only big missing item was that the property info, and the reservation, don't actually say where you are supposed to check in when you get there. If you don't know the British house system, you don't know that the Porter's Lodge is the place to check in to a college. I and about a dozen other, independent guests, all wandered around the property trying to figure out where to check in. You should have this information prominantly in your hotel...

"I didn't receive any instructions for self check in until I called the letting agent. The property is dark and dingy. It smelled damp and was cluttered with unnecessary furniture (large sofa foot stool, 4 armchairs, 4chairs, fridge freezer & non working fridge, for a double room).
