"Very cute rooms, the beds were private and spacious, bedding was very warm and comfortable (slept amazingly). I didn't get back in time for dinner but the udon for breakfast on the first morning was fantastic and I was serenaded by a lovely man playing Ghibli music and the beatles on a ukulele as I ate my cheesy bread on the second morning. "Very good room. Modern and functional, small but didn't feel cramped. The hotel even had a sento (traditional public bath), which was nice. The hotel is located close to many of Kurashiki's attractions, but is ~15 minute walk from Kurashiki station which was slightly inconvenient with luggage, but not a major issue. "The hotel is very close to Kurashiki station and walkable distance to Bikan historical quarters. There are many shops and restaurants nearby shotengai/roofed shopping areas. The room was clean and has basic things you need. The microwave in the room was a nice touch. I bought breakfast at the grocery store next door and warm up my food. Overall, great price and very convenient location. "
