"Really nice place to stay while visiting Durango. Not a lot to do right around the hotel unfortunately, but the river walk is really close. If you’re looking to be able to walk to restaurants or shopping, you probably want to be more in downtown. The hotel is nice though. Quiet and very dog friendly. Lots of places to walk around the property or join up to the walking trails along the Animas River. Staff is very nice and continental breakfast was good."

"A great family owned and managed place. Dog friendly. I have stayed there twice, in six months, and got a completely renovated immaculate room each time. They are not members of the global warming doomsday cult, so you get plenty of hot water in the shower."

"Everything was good except they didn’t do the housekeeping on the second day of our stay even after we asked for it. The front desk said that it got too busy."

"The staff were really kind and helpful. They made my late check in process a smoother one. It was so convenient to walk around. It had both quiet places and was easily accessible from the main street. The property management should work on fixing a couple of small damages within the room and also need to ensure everything is clean and clear before check ins. "
