"Just a bus ride on the Buda side of Budapest. One bus into Pest 108E or 2 buses. 15 min walk to the Budapest-Kelenford station and Etene Shopping Mall. Room was nice and spacious. We were right next to the restaurant and we thought it would have been noisy, but it surprisingly wasn’t and turned out to be very convenient. "If you are into something modern and private then this is not the place for you. It is beginning to show its age on the inside but we were quite fine with that - a different experience for us on our 6 week trip across Europe. Overall staff were pleasant, in particular the young lady who checked us in and who was extremely helpful and ensured, after a mix-up, that we had off-street parking. Breakfast was adequate although it would be nice to have at least another 30 minutes as they clear up...

"The property is an old style large stone house that has been renovated. It has an easy going ambiance as it might have been in the 50s. The neighborhood is 50s style residential, but easy access to decent restaurant and great outdoor coffee shop. Easy access to bus, or 40 minute walk, over the bridge, to the very heart of the city. Service was fine enough, but no breakfast."

"Hostel has easy access to transport and only takes 20 minutes to be in the city centre. Nice to have a shower and fridge in the room. Could do with a fan as it is super hot but you have to pay for it per day. Internet is very poor due to so many people being there. Kitchen's not very clean but work ok. Bathrooms fine. "Check in was somewhat disorganized. Our room had hair on the bed and the bathroom when we came in. Mattresses were aged and extremely uncomfortable. I had a spring poking me in the back for the 2 nights I stayed and did not get much rest at all. It was Formula 1 weekend when we went so the hotel price was of course higher than normal but even at regular prices I would recommend staying away. Food was OK but nothing special. Find something else if at all possible."
