"This hotel was perfect for our four days in the area. The kitchen was great because we had our dog with us and there are limited restaurants that allow pets. It also saved us money since we made most of our own meals. The room had plenty of space. Simple furnishings but everything we needed. Staff was very friendly."

"Very nice stay at the Mallard! It was a last minute pick because our Airbnb cabin wasn’t going to be ready due to no power. For the cost I was very pleased! The rooms had been updated and looked really cute but mostly the bed and pillows were amazing!! We had a great rest that night! What was different and strange is that there was not an employee on property…….. sign outside the office says check your email for room and key code! Weird! Our code work first try so we had to go back and get phone number to get new code and were helped quickly. "
