The place is an absolute cracker for the money.Basic but clean, breakfast was fresh and well served and the pool is such a refreshing way to spend a late afternoon after exploring. ‘Martin’ the turtle swims up to the shore in an afternoon for a nosy which is great to see in his own surroundings and of his own free will. "Our stay at the Backyard Inn was nothing short of a nightmare. The experience felt like actually sleeping outside with the chickens. The pod smelled of chicken waste, the sink didn’t drain, and the noise was unbearable—constant chicken noises, roosters crowing, and no peace or quiet to rest. We couldn’t wait to leave.
