"The location is great with free parking , staff were friendly enough the decor down stair in the guest areas was good and looked fresh, our room needed some attention ,loose fittings, old furniture, and not the best door lock i have ever seen on a hotel door . Being an attic room the walls were thin , the view was very good and the bed was comfortable. If you can look past the tiredness then under that is a good hotel"

"Great hotel for a great price. Unpretentious, comfortable, clean and a good breath. Near all amenities but quiet. A ten minute stroll through the shopping streets to the sea , close to restaurants, pubs etc. I have stayed in many hotels in Sidmouth over the years, from five stars to none and Mount Pleasant is a good two star which we will certainly plan to use again.
