"Trevor and Deanne were wonderful hosts. The assisted us with transportation for our wine tasting trip and made some wonderful recommendations for dining. "Decor quite tired but room was fine, sheets and bedding nice and clean. No power points at the bed. Bathrooms close and clean enough. Nice lounge area with one small Tv and a ping pong table. One broken pool table. Nice big kitchen. Hard to find if using google maps but well sign posted once you find it. "

The cycle tracks along the sea-shore of Hawke's Bay are a great way to spend an afternoon or morning. We biked from Napiers' Marine Parade to the Haumoana market day, which took a couple of hours. The views are lovely, and there are ice-creams available at the end! Make sure you pack sun-block and a big bottle of water - the sun and heat can be super intense.
