"Handy for historic centre and the main sites - walking distance from Centraalstation. On first view the bright colours used inside the hotel were unusual but complimented the modern aspect. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, minimal noise from inside and out. Room had everything required. Staff very helpful. Only negative was room only had one very soft pillow though I suppose I could have asked for more. Would certainly use again when in Antwerp."

"Check in was a bit of a hassle. We never received the mandatory checkin email, which required chatting with hotels.com to resolve the issue. We tried to call the smartflats people after receiving the number from hotels.com (the one on the website is disconnected) directly and were put on hold (while we were chatting with hotels.com) and after 15 minutes of being on hold, we hung up. The checkin also requires a photo id scan from your phone as well as an additional $$ euro deposit before they...

"Very nice and a quiet space to stay in the centre of Antwerp."

"Landing lights constantly flashing = electrical fault. Light above bed missing with wires hanging down in terminal blocks not taped up. Bathroom window rusty and paint missing around window frame. Dust on top of several things in the bathroom. Convenient for station and comfy bed is all I can say that is good about the place. Just like a cheap Belgian hotel in the 80s, but it wasn’t cheap!"

"Es gibt keine kostenlosen Parkplätze, sondern nur öffentliche kostenlose Parkplätze. Die Unterkunft ist nicht sehr sauber. Man bekommt keine Antwort vom Besitzer. Es gibt auch kein 24 Stunden Front Desk. Als wir gebucht hatten, stand sogar noch dabei, dass man die ganze Unterkunft alleine zur Verfügung hat, das stimmt aber nicht, es ist nur ein Zimmer. Die Treppen sind sehr steil."

"Very nice, spacious and cozy studio. 20 mins walking to the city centre but less than 5 mins to the wonderful central station. Lots of restaurants nearby. Nice garage to park the car across the street (15 euros a day). Very friendly staff, the lady was really flexible (thank you so much :) The only con was the shower drain which seemed to be blocked but overall it was excellent cost-benefit. "

"Very nice building and apartment, with period details, spacious with kitchen for making breakfast and very nice bathroom. Good for family of 3. Communication with host was spotty at best. Location was not convenient to train station (no direct tram). Tram or long walk to old part of town. Area is very quiet-- good for sleepng but few restaurants nearby. "
