Staff was very friendly and also apologetic for the pool being down. Check in was quick and they were able to check me in early, really appreciated that. Breakfast at this property is always amazing. As the name (and price) suggests, the A-1 Budget Motel's rooms are fairly basic, and a bit small. But they've been nicely refreshed, and very clean. One nice feature: they've added plenty of electrical outlets, something that's often lacking in older facilities. I recommend A-1 Budget Motel. "

Small, older place in remote town outside of Crater Lake - you can walk the length of the town in 15-20 minutes. 2 of the 3 restaurants in town were closed on the day we were there (Monday&Tuesday closed). Mexican restaurant was at South end of the street and very good."
