"Not a bad stay overall. The property is a bit run down and has obvious signs of heavy usage over a long period of time. The staff was friendly and pleasant although the computer used to check in was down when I arrived so I had to wait. I've always said that it's a bad way to save money to have just one person on duty during the normal check-in hours. You end up with people standing there and waiting for a while when you could pay one more person for 5-6 hours a day to avoid that. I would say...

As the name (and price) suggests, the A-1 Budget Motel's rooms are fairly basic, and a bit small. But they've been nicely refreshed, and very clean.
