"I had a 2-night stay in the hostel part of the building. There is a hotel/inn and a hostel with the same entrance, reception and shared facilities. A bus/train travelcard for the Engadin valley is included in the room rate. The bar area is nice and they do a range of snacks like sandwiches and pizzas. "We were so pleasantly surprised by this wonderful little hotel! It was beautifully situated by Lake Como, within easy walking distance to the lake. It had a great little kitchen and was steps from a small grocery store that sold delicious food which we prepared and ate on our patio while the church bells chimed. "This hotel is in an amazing location. It's a little rough to get to, but once there, you don't really want to leave. The hotel isn't in peak condition and it was a little difficult to get attention when checking in (the restaurant was closed and I had to wander a bit inside to find someone who was busy cleaning up after lunch), but the staff are friendly and attentive, the food at the restaurant is very good, and the rooms are comfortable.
