"Friendly helpful front desk staff. Nice clean rooms and nice places to walk around outside. They used to have a better breakfast and now most everything is premade and wrapped in celophane. But the dining area is clean and lovely. "

"The room was nice. Our door was open when we arrived. But all was clear. The outside looks like they may be renovating pretty bad one stair case was block maybe do to an earthquake at some point. "

"The property is older and shows the wear and tear. But the bed was comfortable, check in was easy, we were able to park somewhat close to our room. It fit our needs as a location close to UCSF and easy to get to. "

"Place was clean and very nice. I was nicely surprised. My daughter is going to East Bay for the next 3 years. We found a place to stay that is perfect. "

"My stay here was fine. I chose this hotel because it was one of the lowest prices (if not THE lowest) in the area, plus it was walking distance to my destination the day after I stayed here. This is pretty darn basic, though. I didn't read the full description of the hotel, but I was surprised there was not mini-frig (so my lunch for the following day was thrown away). Other than that, I really don't have complaints - just a simple, basic stay. I probably woudn't stay here again, though. "
