"We needed to stay somewhere for one night as our previous reservation was messed up by us. This hotel was available and was fine for one night. There were only two small towels and we would have had to pay one euro each for anymore. They also required us to pay in cash. It was a little out of the way but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable."

"The location is perfect just in the city centre. The room was small and very simple. The breakfast was amazing! Very tasty and welcoming. Home pastries alongside with professional coffee were the best. "

"This property was amazing. The view from the room is worth every dollar. The staff is extremely friendly and goes above and beyond. We got in a bit later on the day of arrival and it was pouring rain, we went down for the dinner and it was so cozy and welcoming of a space. "

"It's fine. Cheap place to stay. The noise is the biggest issue. There were dogs barking in reception one morning and no attempt from anyone to quiet them down. On the last night there was someone in a room practicing opera from 10pm til gone midnight. Think they need to remind guests and staff this is a hotel and people are trying to sleep. But as I say it's clean, cheap and staff were friendly."

"The Woodhouse hotel was our base for attending the Bruce Springsteen concert in Monza, which is just a bus and train ride away. The hotel is no frills, but has all the comfort you need, from good beds to clean rooms. The staff are very friendly and helpful. "This hotel was ok, spacious bathroom, very helpful staff, and reliable housekeeping. The bad parts were a small bed and despite central heating, it was somewhat cold. But my 5 Vie stay wasn't a problem - getting there was. It is better for those that have a car. If you are taking a train and/or bus, please get there as early as possible. "The hotel itself was great. It had a retro feel which we loved and the staff were lovely. However, it seemed we couldn’t leave and re-enter after 10pm as we didn’t get a key to the main door. It also felt quite unsafe outside as there were many men hanging around trying to talk to you as you looked for the entrance. The entrance is quite concealed, so would be useful to be given instructions on how to find it. "

"Quirky little place. No curtains in any of the rooms we saw, just a heavy lace. Your door was either deadlocked or open, no snib lock, turn your hot water on 10 minutes before your shower or it will be cold, very little storage space and small bathroom. Breakfast tables were cramped for room, selection ok but no room to put your plate down anywhere to put anything on it. Size of the room and the bed were good. "I recently stayed in an economy room with private bathroom, but after reading the reviews I didn’t have my hopes up. However, I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at Hotel Bristol. Firstly, it is very accessible via the local metro system and had no bother finding it. The room had a lot more than I expected: balcony, fan, TV, wardrobe, bidet etc. It was quite comfortable and reasonably clean too. If I ever come back to Milan, I’ll definitely try and stay here again - especially with the low price I paid."
