"Fairly easy to find, though on a one way system, parking was a little tight at the back, ok for a small car, also limited spaces. There is some parking at front, but it restricted times etc .the hotel was nice and cosy, a bit dated, but everything functioned. We stayed at the back, and was fairly quiet there at night, not so sure about the front..? Warm cosy bed , very helpful friendly staff,.. AND the crown jewel was the full breakfast, 110% !!, set us up for the day, would recommend the place...

"Ideal location for my itinerary. Well equipped, cosy and had everything I required. Quiet area, no bright lights and slept well. I travelled solo this time, but ideal for couples. Very close to Cader Idris and Mach Loop, two of my main locations to visit."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Ideal location for Fairbourne and surrounding area - you need to go to Dolgellau, Barmouth and try the Precipice Walk and Creggannan Lakes which were lovely walks with stunning views. Nice to get some milk and Welsh cakes which were lovely. Cottage was clean and comfortable, only minor negative was limited information about what to do at check out time, local contacts etc. and there wasn’t much in terms of cleaning equipment apart from a broom so couldn’t do...

"Absolutely amazing place. Very clean, tidy and the yurt had lots of room with a log fire. Kitchen has all kitchen utensils, crockery etc you need. There's no fridge but there is a cool box. They have a little cooking stove and oven, sink and kettle. Shower with hot water, a compost toilet and a fire pit/BBQ. "New management has made many upgrades to the property. This was the first time I visited, so I didn't miss the old quirks; I found the place delightful. The Snug is a lovely lounge with wood-burning fire that was great for a cold night. I'm sure the outside tables would be lovely in warm weather. The location right next to the footbridge is charming. I stayed in room 2; the bathroom was a bit small and awkward, but I understand they have to work with the structure that's there."
