"Charming, small inn. Next to very pretty church. Tasty and filling breakfast included. Looks newly redecorated. My room faced onto the car park, and had quite low ceilings… but my colleague’s room seemed to have lovely tall ceilings, and old beams. Pillows were a bit lumpy, and the room was quite chilly overnight."

"Staff were lovely and the room had a couple of extra touches I wasn’t expecting like bottles of water. The only thing that I would say tainted the stay was that I couldn’t turn the heating off in the room and with the room being small and at the top of the building, it was so, so hot. Other than that, great."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Charnwood Guest House. The spotless room had a comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facilities and hot shower. Breakfast was served fresh to order each morning.
