"Hotel Balmi is a lovely, modern, boutique hotel. My room was great, with a nice river view. The location was perfect for me, with so much interesting street life nearby and within walking distance of some of the tourist spots. It’s also easy and cheap to get a Grab taxi if you’re feeling a little tired and lazy! The service at the hotel was fantastic. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I’d definitely stay here again."

"I stayed here in October 2019 for a few nights and loved this little hotel! I've stayed in Yangon a number of times, and this is by far the best place I've stayed, yet in the same price range or less than the others. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Location is great - walking distance to the Shwedagon and park and several good restaurants. Most importantly, breakfast was absolutely delicious every morning, with both traditional Myanmar options and Western options that were excellent. ...

When I had a problem with my flight time the hotel front desk tried their best to find a flight and accommodation option that best suited my travel schedule. The service took a bit of time to procure food but that is understandable as I personally ordered for room service at an odd hour.
