"This is an old merchant house that has been nicely remodeled as a hotel. It's smack in the middle of Tomonoura's historic renewal district. The room I had was spacious, comfortable, and nicely designed. "After a slight mishap with some reservation mix-up at the reception, everything went very smoothly. The hotel is a typical Japanese business hotel offering as little comfort as possible, but as long as you're not expecting 5 star service, it is fine. Showers are in separate rooms. The neighborhood is fantastic and is really close to everything. The staff is incredibly friendly and will go out of their way to help you out."

"Incredible to find this kind of Inn on an almost deserted island. The view from my room was spectacular. I could see 12 islands changing colors as time goes by. The best part was the dinner consisting mainly of quite a few bite size appetizers that reminds me of mediterranean cuisines. The course concluded with octopus rice. The dessert was panna cotta. Everything was delicious. Thank you Kako_san. Will visit you again."

"埃などは落ちてないので清潔ではあるが、何せ建物や備品が古いままな為、カーテンや扉の紙の日焼けやシミがそのまま残ってしまっているのが残念。 昭和世代はまだ耐えられるが、それ以降の人達には厳しいかもしれません。お湯がなかなか出てこないのも大変。それだけ今の世の中が便利で楽になったという事を感じれます笑 部屋及び風呂からの眺めも窓を変えるだけでもかなり変わるはずですが、経営上なかなか難しいんでしょうね。 それでも旅館の方達は高齢ですが、親切で良い方ばかりです。"
