There are steel shutters to keep it safe and the light out but meant there is no airflow with thw window open. The door was super heavy and secure. However we were told it would have a private bathroom which meant a private shower (with a shower curtain that didn't close fully) and sink. The toilet was a shared toilet in the hall. "No curtains so everyone else can see what you do at night. No receptionist just a guys front room that he hangs out in. Wifi is a tad broken but apart from that the bed was quite comfy and as expected for a budget hostel."
